On behalf of the University of Nicosia faculty, administration and staff, welcome to our web site.

Since the early 1980’s, in our previous identity as Intercollege, we have contributed to tertiary education in Cyprus and in the region. We have had, and continue to have, an international student body, instruction in the English language, and an emphasis on multiculturalism, offering a dynamic learning environment in a modern country.

Cyprus is a highly developed country with a rapidly growing economy, while it is also, since 1 May 2004, a member of the European Union. At the same time, it is geographically located in the Eastern Mediterranean, at the boundary between the European Union, North Africa and Asia, and so its rich history and cultural heritage bears the marks of its position at the crossroads of civilizations.

Our motto is Excellence in Education. This commitment is reflected in our internationally recruited faculty, in our growing research production and in our rich programme of activities, contributing to the society and economy of the country. Our consistent pursuit of quality has been rewarded by our accession to University status as the University of Nicosia, commencing as of the Academic year 2007-08.

As you can see on the pages of our website, we offer a diversity of academic programmes at both the undergraduate and graduate level, which prepare students for careers in the public and private sector.
